Course Brief:
This course addresses the current status and future directions of biotechnology and its management so that participants manage biotechnology in a safe manner for maximizing the public good. The course covers various aspects of biotechnology management, including the basics of biotechnology, biotechnology regulatory affairs, biotech law, biotech and environment, bioethics and current trends in biotechnology.

Study visits include exposure to state-of-the-art biotechnology laboratories, and private companies and government agencies engaged in biotechnology-related activities.
