Course Brief: This course aims to provide the participants with the necessary knowledge and tools for either planning a new business venture or for continuing and strengthening an existing small business. The focus of this course is on small and medium businesses, marketing for small and medium businesses, financial management for small and medium businesses, and HRM and information management for small and medium businesses.

Study visits to small and medium size business organizations, community organizations, and rural industries enterprises are organized to provide practical exposure to participants. The participants also prepare an action plan or a business development plan for their organization.
