Course Brief: This course aims to facilitate the participants with bridge design and construction management tools and techniques. The program will focus mainly on bridge design, specifically on suspension bridge and the best practices of bridge design, construction, environmental impact and financial viability of projects. There would be field visits to bridge construction projects. This would allow the engineers to enhance their skills in scheduling, planning resources, ensuring quality, prevailing international practices of construction projects, environmental impact on engineering construction projects, gain understanding on cost and time management and determining the financial viability of projects.
