Course Brief: This program aims to expose participants with learning opportunity on latest development on sustainable livelihoods practices in coastal area. The program covers seminars on integrated coastal zone management, community participatory planning and implementation. It highlights exposure visits to development agencies and projects working on research and study on coastal area development, technology transfer, community-based co-management and conservation, income generation, value-added development activities, livelihoods development and institutional capacity building for fishing communities.
