Course Brief: This program aims to expose participants with learning opportunity on principles, strategies and practices on urban poverty reduction. The program content covers seminars on latest development, model and strategies on urban poverty reduction. It highlights exposure visits to various types of urban poverty reduction projects such as income generation, urban employment, skills training, micro-credit and marketing assistance, quality of life development, health and sanitation, slum upgrading, housing for low-income group, and capacity building for urban communities.
