Dr. Consuelo Waight is a professor of Human Resource Development (HRD) at the University of Houston (UH). She is the Founding Director of the Executive HRD program. Dr. Consuelo conducts research on learning, mergers and acquisitions, and global human resource development. In addition, she teaches courses related to learning, dialogic organization development, and global HRD. Dr. Consuelo has applied her expertise in Angola, Mozambique, Belize, Jamaica, Thailand, St. Lucia, and Nicaragua. She has a Ph.D. in Human Resource Development from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Consuelo is also the recipient of a Fulbright Student Award and a Fulbright Scholar Award.
