This one-week customized workshop is prepared for five (5) officers from Water and Sanitation Division, Department of Engineering Services, Ministry of Works and Human Settlement from the Kingdom of Bhutan during 9 – 13 December 2019.
The aim of this workshop is to enhance participants' knowledge on guideline and practical assistance for planning, maintenance and operation of the public toilet network across the city with the sustained management of public sanitation facilities.
Some of the key issues to be addressed during the workshop are:
- New Toilet Generation Technology and Model for Public Toilet Development
- Design and Model , landscape for users' friendly
- Planning, financing, operations and/or management of public toilets
- Operation and Maintenance and guideline for public toilet management
- Standards and guidelines for public toilets
- Best construction practices for public toilets
- Sewerage and Dispersal System and Standard
- Waste Water Management System and standardize water treatment
- Composting toilet system
