Road Safety Audit

The accident caused by road traffic is one of the most dangerous global threats to people’s health and life. The number of people who died and were injured in road accidents has been increasing every year. Therefore, the mechanism and management to prevent road accidents and fatalities must be initiated and transferred to all stakeholders. One such measure is introducing a road safety audit on project design and construction of road infrastructures. Road Safety Audit is a so-called new procedure to ensure the safety of all road schemes. It is a simple and highly cost-effective way to reduce crashes on all roads. It provides every crash preventive means and reduces economic loss and avoidance of personal fatality and injury.

Objectives:
