Participants: Engineers, IT professionals, scientists, and other technically competent professionals in Asia in, or newly promoted to, management positions, or who wish to prepare themselves for such a transition.

Course Brief: Technically competent engineering and information technologies professionals in Asia and throughout the world face new challenges when they move into management positions. They need to address people issues involving their staffs (and people in other departments within their organizations), business issues in understanding their department’s role in the context of organizational business goals and strategies, and leadership issues in staff motivation and extending influence throughout an organization.
