Environmental and Social Safeguards (Batch II)

AIT Extension is hosting a professional development program on “Environmental and Social Safeguards” for Engineers and Administrators from the Ministry of Local Development (MoLD), Government of Nepal (17 – 25 May, 2010). Organized for the second time, this one week training program is designed specially for the government officials who are engaged in “Rural Accessibility Improvement and Decentralization Project (RAIDP)”. Construction Management Experience to Next Level: 10 – 21 May, 2010

Public Sector Capacity Building Unit, AIT Extension, in conjunction with the Punjab Resource Management Program (PRMP), Government of Punjab, Pakistan is hosting a 2 weeks training program on "Construction Management" at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand. 26 Senior Government Officials and Engineers from various departments such as: Irrigation and Power; Communications and Works; Housing and Urban Development; and Planning and Development will be attending this tailor made program. HRM Training Aims to Further Improve the Efficiency and Effectiveness of the HR Systems in Bangladesh

The senior- and middle level-management officials of the Titas Gas T & D Co. Ltd. will participate in a two-week training on Human Resources Management on 26 April – 7 May 2010.  This capacity—building program aims to assist in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the HR systems in Bangladesh Titas Gas T & D Co. AIT Extension to host “Training of Trainers” program for officials of Administrative Training Institute, Karnataka, India (19 - 23 April)

10 educators and senior officials from Administrative Training Institute, Mysore, India will visit Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand to attend a one week professional course on “Training of Trainers”.

The objective of this one-week intensive customized course is to bring the trainer’s competencies at a higher level with the opportunity to deepen their understanding on the ideas and principles of a competitive performance and thus, develop the skills to pass the knowledge gained to future generations.
