The seminar is intended to inform fundamental approach to planning and design of pumping facilities. In view of more useful knowledge in practical works. Applications of pumping equipment for intake and transfer pump station including operation methods and water hammer phenomena are lectured.
Total number of 30 will be invited from government agencies and public sectors, consulting firms and institutions related to pump engineering. Applicants should have at least B.S. degree in Mechanical, Industrial, and Electrical, or other related fields, and should be between 28 - 55 years of age. Detailed training objectives and targeted participants are given in the attached flyer.
A limited number of fellowships from EBARA Hatakeyama Memorial Fund which cover tuition fees and accommodation for foreigner will be offered to qualified applicants from Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam. International/Domestic travel to and from Bangkok and per diem shall be borne by each applicant. Selection will be based on academic background, current job responsibilities and experience. Since the instruction will be in English, proven competency in English is required.
