Gas Reservoir Management with Production Optimization for Engineers

Date Range

01 - 08 Apr 2019

This course starts with a review on gas properties and detailed discussion on gas and gas condensate material balance for different drive mechanisms and proceeds with decline curve and rate transient analyses. Various correlations for present and future inflow performance relationships and vertical flow performance will be presented. Participants will learn to use nodal analysis to identify production problems, predict production profile, and optimize system design for single and multi-layered reservoirs. Techniques and successful historical cases of increased gas/condensate recovery from depletion-drive, water-drive, and gas condensate reservoirs will be introduced.

TIMING: The training course will be held during 1 – 8 April 2019 (excluding travel time)
