Result Based Management Training in Thailand and Laos: for Ministry of Local Development, Ministry of Finance and National Planning Commission, Nepal

Public Sector Capacity Building Unit, AIT Extension is hosting a group of senior government officials from Ministry of Local Development, Ministry of Finance and National Planning Commission, Nepal for a training program on “Result Based Management” (15 – 21 July, 2012). The program has been designed exclusively for the government officials to support their development projects' initiatives. The participants include Joint Secretaries, Under Secretaries and Officers from the Government of Nepal.

The program expects to enable the officials to plan and implement appropriate result-based project monitoring and evaluation activities at national and local levels. It aims to allow them to explore the pit-falls in their existing M&E system in view of improving their system. In addition, they will be exposed to RBM methods being practiced in development projects in Thailand and Lao PDR.
