IT and Engineering Unit, AIT Extension in collaboration with Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) is organizing a two-week professional training program on “Participatory Integrated Water Resource Management” (28 May – 8 Jun 2012). Fourteen participants comprising Engineers and Managers from BWDB, Bangladesh and Power Distribution Company, Pakistan are currently attending the training program in Bangkok.
The objective of the program is to showcase the best practices in the implementation of integrated water resource management with emphasis on water governance. The program also expects the participants to comprehend the effects of participatory water management, challenges and its practical applications in Thailand.
