The 16-hours online course was customized specifically for Chevron Bangladesh’s Corporate Affairs department. The course aims to address key concept of project management, project planning, implementation approaches, project time management and community-based disaster management aspect of development projects. The substances cover approaches and tools to guide participants to manage project activities, as well as to be acquainted with practices to maintain effectiveness of the projects. The program also introduces key concepts and approaches on disaster management in which will support the staff to have comprehensive understanding, and to apply the concepts into future natural disaster management projects.
After the online course, participants will be able to:
- Share understanding and possible applications of the project management approaches and tools;
- Practice project activity scheduling and time management using computer-aided project management applications;
- Articulate and connect actual project examples with the project appraisal processes and criteria; and
- Conceptualize disaster risk management aspects and approaches that can be applied for disaster related project implementation.
