Voravate takes a leading role in the design and development of capacity building programmes to enhance the capacity of public sector organizations in developing countries. He also manages and directs programmatic teams to implement capacity development and training activities in the areas of performance-based management, public policy and administration, monitoring and evaluation and human resources development (HRD). In the recent past, Voravate associated with the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, DFID, USAID, GIZ, as well as the non-governmental organization providing advisory service on HRD and organizational development.
During 2016-2019, as Project Director, Voravate manages the implementation of impact evaluation assignments on a physical education project for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Thailand. The project was funded by the IKEA Foundation and Special Olympic International (SOI). He served as Lead Consultant of AIT Extension to implement consultancy services for World Bank-funded projects on Technical Assistance for Capacity Building in the Hydropower and Mining Sectors (HMTA) of the Ministry of Energy and Mine and on Human Resource Development of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Government of Lao PDR. In 2010, he served as AIT's Programme Manager of two leadership development programmes funded by UNDP and the Ministry of Peace and Reconstruction, Government of Nepal. He also acted as Course Director of UNICEF/UNDP's Capacity Development Project for the Ministry of Municipalities and Public Works (MPPW), Government of Iraq.

Voravate earned his B.Sc. in Soil Science from King's Mongkut Institute of Technology Lad Krabang (KMITL) in 1989 and M.Sc. in Regional and Rural Development Planning of AIT School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD) in 1994.
