ICT e-Governance in Asia: Current Development, Challenges and Achievements (29 Nov – 03 Dec, 2010)

AIT Extension is hosting a one week international training program on “ICT: e-Governance in Asiaat the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand. This program is a joint initiative of AIT and College of Management of Technology, ECOLE POLYTECHNIQUE FEDERALE DE LAUSANNE (EPFL), Switzerland

EPFL exclusively offers one year Executive Masters in e-Governance and this short course is one of the modules of the Executive Master in e-Governance program.

This one week training program on ICT: e-Governance will highlight innovative e-Governance cases applied in Thailand, Indonesia and other South Asian countries. The emphasis is given on the current developments in e-Governance, the challenges and achievements. The participants will have understanding on the priorities of the government in the region and the benefits derived by the citizens from these initiatives. In addition, as a supplement to the class lectures, the program includes field visits to the leading applications of e-Government programs in Thailand.
