AIT Extension in collaboration with Katalyst and the Craft Artisans of National Crafts Council, Bangladesh has organized a ten-day exposure visit program on the topic “Souvenir Design and Development” (29 Nov – 8 Dec, 2010). Eighteen participants who are responsible for souvenir product design and development in Bangladesh are attending the program at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand.
The program aims to highlight the best practices and innovative learning on current production technology and craft designs of Thailand. The exposure visits to various organizations in Thailand is expected to improve participants’ existing skills to meet the present and future need/challenges of souvenir product design and development in Bangladesh.
