The YY Cocktail began at the Global Social Business Summit 2012 as a social business movement. Held in France, Canada, and Thailand, the YY Cocktail is a reoccurring networking experience that brings together social entrepreneurs, investors, academia, social business experts, and students to engage in discussion and be inspired about social business innovation and how it is creating a poverty-free world. Launched in the presence of Prof. Yunus, the YY Cocktail is held on a bi-monthly basis in Bangkok, with partner organizations placing a theme that will guide discussions in each subsequent event.
The 6th YY Cocktail is a part of a larger program launched by TSEO and YCA, Social Business Awareness in Thailand.
The YCA’s ongoing partnership with TSEO has brought forth five YY Cocktails, 2 Social Business 101 Workshops, two Social Business Launch Pad training programs to date. The YCA and TSEO staff meet regularly for meetings and social business-related events to conceptualize new programs that will fulfill the needs of private, public and academic sectors to promote a poverty-free Thailand.
